Bay (PB@JAZZ) is a 12-pieces a “Little Big Band” project of musical and cultural movement by jazz
enthusiasts and professional musicians which combine of jazz standards with new
modern rhythms and sounds for contemporary development in fusion, funky, soul,
R&B and Latin jazz forms. We are 3 saxes, 3 trumpets,
1 trombone and rhythm section, and invited jazz singers living around
Plantation Bay, Ormond Beach, Florida. We are ready to patriciate in concert
shows, community gatherings, festivals
and music educational programs.
Our Story
The Project has started about 4 years ago by two musicians Ed and Ray:
Edouard Nesvijski has been a jazz music lover since high school playing alto, tenor and baritone saxophones, flute and clarinet. Later he played with Dmitry Dmitrenko Big Band, Illiya Gass Big Band and with Vadim Korsak Group (now known as “Musical Laboratory”) in Kiev Ukraine and with Laci Olah Big Band in Moscow, Russia for several years. Then pursued his career in acoustic research and computer aided modeling and engineering design. He returned to playing jazz with friends at homes studio ten years ago. He also participated as invited guest in “Autumn Jazz Marathon” International Jazz Festival in Kiev, Ukraine in November 2016. He also has PhD degree in Acoustics and Mechanical Engineering, supervised many PhD and master's degree students with successes.
Ray Campos is a professional musician. He received a BA in music from Long Island University, and credits toward his master degree at Queens College. Served long apprenticeships with St. Peters church in NYC and Nancy Banks big band. Midsummer Night Swing at Lincoln Center/ Damrouch Park in New York City for 16 years plus a New Year’s Gig for them with the Harlem Renaissance Orchestra. Today's musical specialty is big band, swing jazz, gospel, Latin plus R&B music. He performs regularly with the Harlem Renaissance Orchestra, the Metropolitan Gospel Big Band, James Spaulding Septet & the Latin Jazz coalition. Ray also taught music for the NYC Board of Education.
Pat D’Aguanno is a professional musician who has excited audiences in New York, Florida and on cruise ships. He has been playing since age 12. Currently, Pat can be heard throughout North-Central Florida, performing Smooth Jazz on Saxophone, Flute and Vocals. Educated at Berklee College of Music, in Boston. Pat leads Jazz groups and dance bands and has played clarinet in classical music settings, as well as performs as guest artist and studio musician, arranger/composer. He has performed with many artists including Lady of Song Linda Cole, Myles Savage of the Platters, Herbert Rawlings Jr. of the Las Vegas Rat Pack, Blues Artist Floyd Miles, and Jazz Vocal Stylist Toni Bishop. Pat’s musical influences include Nestor Torres, Gato Barbieri, Joe Henderson, Stan Getz and Grover Washington Jr. Pat has earned a reputation for his versatility with Jazz, Blues, Swing, Dance, Latin, Rock and Pop.
Bill Welch is a former lead guitarist and vocalist with the House Cats of St. Augastine. He earned an MS in music from CW Post University in New York. He played and Studied with Sonny Dallas and was a bass player for Lenny Tristano. he also studied jazz guitar with Larry Coryell the well-known fusion guitarist.
Isaac Abimael Bobonis's musical journey started in South Sumter Middle School Band by the hand of Mr. Cory Lowery, as a way to improve Isaac’s social skills. He has chosen trumpet, because that was the musical instrument his family had at home. Isaac’s dad, Edrid, took trumpet classes during his teenage years. Isaac’s music career accomplishments include: Florida Bandmasters Association Honor Concert Band for three consecutive years (2011, 2012, 2013), 2014 “Louis Armstrong Jazz Award”, First Chair Trumpet for the “Tampa Youth Metropolitan Orchestra” 2013-2014, Lead Soprano Trumpet for “Florida Brass Alumni Drum and Bugle Corp”. He also received an Associate Degree in Arts from Hillsborough Community College, Major in Music, Brass Instruments in 2019.
Scott Raybuck - a scientist by training, Scott hails from Boston and has played electric bass for 20+years in both worship and jazz bands. Previous groups have included Terra Firma Trio, Blessed Beyond Belief, and The Misty Notes. His influences include Paul Chambers, John Paul Jones, Scott La Faro, and Jack Bruce.
Nancy and Brandon Rodriguez: Nancy Rodriguez: Vocalist for: The Oceansiders Band, Latin Impact/Impacto Latino Band and the new "Dakota Logan Band". Nancy Rodriguez is Florida’s most versatile singers with so ductile a voice that she could sing any music style. Born and raised in Perth Amboy, New Jersey she began her career at the early age of 8. After graduating in 1989, Nancy made Florida her home. She is a singer with many attributes such as power, variety, emotion, and abundance. Nancy is capable of singing the most powerful rock tune or the sweetest Jazz tune ballad. She possesses the ability of producing incredibly beautiful vocal ranges with the power and register of her voice. With her glamourous style and songs, she could move audiences to laugh and cry. Her charisma is a natural gift coexisting in harmony with her voice, her appearance, her delicate taste, and her musical quality. Available for any of your music venues: Latin, Pop, Jazz, Motown, 70's etc.
Oleg Troyansky, is our piano and keyboard player. Oleg received his classical musical education in his childhood in Ukraine. Since his immigration to the West, Oleg has been combining his main occupation as a programmer with a versatile musical career, playing in various jazz, rock, and pop music bands.
Aaron Mahaney: Beginning at the age of 10 studying and practicing from Haskell Harr Percussion lesson books. Playing in the School Orchestra in Elementary School right thru the Senior year of High School. Joined the Syracuse Mauraders Drum and Bugle corps for 2 years traveling New York State with Shows and competitions. Playing in clubs across Canada and as far South as the Hard Rock Casino in Acapulco Mexico. Opening for National acts, studio experience and the road have all contributed to a life of music, that keeps giving back what you put into it.

Richard Marion plays Trumpet/Flugelhorn. His musical journey began in eighth grade in his hometown of Fort Pierce, Florida. He grew up playing classical music, but also performed in musicals and soul bands throughout the Treasure Coast. After graduation, he traveled the world as a member of the US Air Force Logistician. He has performed in multiple musicals such as The Music Man, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Fiddler on the Roof
